About Root+Center

Welcome to Root + Center!

Root + Center is where my work across human experience, research, and professional practice comes together. It is a space for exploring how we understand ourselves, one another, and the contexts that shape our experiences.

Founded by Dr. Amy Rodriguez Tackett, Root + Center grew from the intersection of professional experience, research, and lived understanding. My work spans clinical psychology, behavioral health coaching, research, quality improvement, professional training, and consultation. A consistent thread runs through each of these roles: I seek to understand people within the full context of their lives and translate that understanding into more responsive practices, tools, and systems.

I am particularly interested in the places where individual experiences reveal larger patterns. I integrate what we have learned from communities, research, and professional practice to make sense of complexity and turn that understanding into meaningful next steps.

At Root + Center, we work together to remember what has always been present beneath patterns of survival and adaptation: choice, connection, and a way of being that feels more grounded, present, and whole.
