Re-Embodiment for Wellness

The Re-Embodiment for Wellness Approach is an integrative framework for understanding and supporting human wellness through intentional validation and strengthening of connection with ourselves, and as a result, with others. It honors the understanding that many of us adapt to the expectations, relationships, and systems around us in ways that are both necessary and protective, yet may also create distance from aspects of our authentic selves.

Re-Embodiment is the intentional process of reconnecting through awareness, curiosity, reflection, authentic expression, and integration.

The approach invites people to explore their experiences through multiple pathways, including thoughts, emotions, bodily sensations, relationships, culture, intuition, and other personally meaningful ways of knowing.  The goal is to cultivate greater authenticity, alignment, and well-being. This approach is grounded in humility - it honors the complexity of human experience and recognizes that there are many pathways toward understanding ourselves.

The Re-Embodiment Approach is an evolving framework and area of scholarship. As my research continues, I anticipate that its language and applications will grow alongside new evidence, collaboration, and lived experience. I seek to bridge psychological science with neuroaffirming, multicultural, embodied, and integrative perspectives on wellness.

If this perspective resonates with you, I would be honored to walk alongside you.

Integrative NeuroAffirming Framework (INAF)

The Integrative NeuroAffirming Framework (INAF) is a pluralistic and strengths-based  framework that reflects a commitment to expanding how we understand and support human diversity. INAF expands traditional neuroaffirming practice by integrating neuroscience with multicultural psychology, embodiment, lived experience, and diverse ways of knowing. It encourages practitioners to integrate multiple perspectives while fostering authenticity, belonging, and whole-person wellness. INAF serves as both a foundation for my research and a practical guide for consultation, education, and professional development.

Decolonized Practice

My work and training in decolonizing practice reflects an ongoing commitment to critically examining the historical, cultural, and systemic influences that shape how we understand health, identity, and human development. This scholarship continues to deepen the Integrative NeuroAffirming Framework (INAF), the Re-Embodiment Approach, and my commitment to approaching every person and community with curiosity, cultural humility, and respect. Ultimately, I hope this work empowers those we serve while supporting professionals in creating more affirming, equitable, and authentic practices.
